Tiger and Crow Watch Co
We are Birdy and Greg Schmitt, based in Portland, Oregon. This started simply, Greg was looking for a watch for Birdy, and somewhere in that process the hunt became the thing. The puzzle of sourcing, the authentication, the market knowledge, the moment a watch lands in your hands and you understand why people care about these objects. We got hooked.
So we built a business around it. Tiger and Crow exists to navigate that puzzle for other people, to source authentic, honestly priced watches and remove the uncertainty that makes the pre-owned market intimidating. Every watch we handle is vetted before it goes anywhere, and we stand behind every piece we sell. If something isn't right, we make it right.
Along the way we are building a photo journal of every piece that passes through our hands. Not product shots, real photographs. A record of the objects themselves, and the brief time they spent with us before moving on to their person.
That journal lives in The Archive. Every watch we have ever handled is there, available or rehomed. It is the ongoing record of this business and it is open to everyone.
Authenticity
Every watch we sell is guaranteed authentic. If a piece arrives and isn't exactly as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will make it right. No runaround. That's the whole policy.

What services do you offer?

We offer a few different services. Browse the Archive and inquire about anything currently available. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll source it, we have access to the broader pre-owned market and can track down specific references, conditions, and configurations. Or reach out about consigning or selling a watch you already own. Start with a conversation and we'll figure out the best path from there.
How does condition grading work?

Every listing includes a full condition assessment: Excellent, Very Good, or Good — along with exactly what's included, whether that's box and papers, box only, or watch only. We describe what's actually there, not what we wish were there. If you have questions about a specific piece, please ask.
What brands do you work with?

We focus on established manufacturers with strong secondary market histories: Rolex, Cartier, Tudor, Omega, IWC, and others. If you have a specific piece in mind, ask. If it's out there we'll find it.
